Prime Bank partners with DxNe to advance women’s mobility and financial independence
Prime Bank PLC. has joined hands with DX New Energy Industries Ltd. (DxNe) to launch a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing mobility and financial freedom for women across Bangladesh.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the two organisations to provide complimentary motorcycle driving training for Prime Bank's 'Neera' segment customers at DxNe's training centres nationwide. This collaboration reflects a shared vision of equipping women with practical tools to journey confidently towards independence.
By fostering mobility, the initiative seeks to remove barriers to freedom, opportunity, and access—enabling women to participate more fully in the country's economic and social spheres. In a further gesture of empowerment, Neera customers will also be eligible for personal loans under simplified terms, supporting their aspirations and easing access to resources for both personal and professional needs.
Md. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank PLC., and Dewan Kanon, Founder & CEO of DX Group, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. The ceremony was attended by Joarder Tanvir Faisal, EVP & Head of Cards and Retail Asset; Shaila Abedin, Head of Liability at Prime Bank; Tareq Islam Shuvo, Group CBO & CMO; Md. Harun-Or-Roshid, Head of Business at DxNe; and other senior officials from both sides.
This collaboration reaffirms Prime Bank's unwavering commitment to inclusive banking and gender equality—turning ambition into action through initiatives that are practical, purposeful, and poised to make lasting change.
