Pitha Utshob and TBS newspaper stand inaugurated at Gulshan Society Lake Park

The Business Standard, Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Gulshan Society jointly organised a vibrant Pitha Utshob and inaugurated a TBS newspaper stand at Gulshan Society Lake Park this morning (31 January).
The event celebrated traditional Bengali delicacies while promoting a culture of reading among the community.
Honourable guests in attendance included Syed Ahsan Habib, secretary general of Gulshan Society; Inam Ahmed, editor of The Business Standard; and Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan, managing director (current charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.
Also present were The Business Standard's Managing Editor Khaled Masood, and Deputy Executive Editor Shakhawat Liton.
The Pitha Utshob attracted a diverse crowd, featuring a variety of traditional homemade pithas, including Bhapa and Chitoi, adding a festive atmosphere to the event.
Visitors enjoyed the delicacies and appreciated the initiative taken by the organisers.
