Page development centre partners with bkash

Over 2.1 lakh PAGE Development Centre members can now pay savings and loan instalments via the 'Microfinance' payment option in the bKash app.
With this addition, nearly 25 million members of 64 MFIs across the country can now seamlessly use bKash to make loan repayments and deposit savings digitally.
PAGE Development Centre and bKash recently signed the agreement at the bKash headquarters. Senior officials from both organisations attended, including bKash Chief Commercial Officer Ali Ahmmed, Business Sales Head of Department Masrur Chowdhury, Microfinance Payment VP Tariqul Islam, and PAGE Development Centre's Executive Director Md Yunus, along with Directors Md Mujibur Rahman, Md AWM Wahiduzzaman, and Abdur Rauf Bhuiya.
PAGE Development Centre operates through 162 branches nationwide, serving over 210,000 members, many of whom reside in remote or rural areas. By integrating bKash's microfinance service, the centre enables these members to carry out financial transactions easily and safely, without visiting MFI branches or handling cash.
This partnership will help PAGE Development Centre reduce operational workload, speed up collection processes, and enhance transparency in its financial services. bKash further strengthens its position in the microfinance sector through this collaboration, aligning with its broader mission of driving digital financial inclusion across Bangladesh.
