Otithi - BRAC launches Rajshahi Mango Orchard Tour

Otithi, a community-based tourism initiative by BRAC, is offering travellers a chance to explore Bangladesh through the lens of its people, culture, and natural beauty.

Designed to create authentic and impactful travel experiences, Otithi connects visitors with rural communities in a way that benefits both guests and hosts.

Since its launch, Otithi has established operations in two key locations - Rajshahi and Madhupur - laying the foundation for a more inclusive and community-rooted travel experience. It has introduced three thoughtfully designed packages that bring travellers closer to the heart of each region. The Rajshahi Package explores the area's rural charm and riverside life, creating immersive experiences highlighting Rajshahi's rich history, vibrant culture, and everyday traditions. The Madhupur Homestay is a peaceful retreat nestled within the Sal forest, where guests can savour local meals, discover traditional crafts, and immerse themselves in the slower pace of nature.

Most recently, Otithi has launched the Rajshahi Mango Orchard Tour. This seasonal, hands-on journey invites visitors to pick ripe mangoes straight from the orchard, unwind with scenic boat rides, and participate in pottery workshops and cultural evenings celebrating local heritage.

Each tour is designed as a vacation and a meaningful exchange, where travellers learn from locals, celebrate diverse traditions, and discover Bangladesh's untouched beauty.
