Officials from Maruti Suzuki India to visit Bangladesh

Mr Hirose Yasuhiko, Executive Officer – International Marketing, and Mr Anil Kumar Saini, Divisional Manager of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, are scheduled to visit Dhaka from June 30 to July 2, 2025, on a three-day official tour.

The visit comes at the invitation of Uttara Motors Limited (UML), the sole distributor of Maruti Suzuki vehicles in Bangladesh. During their stay, the senior executives will hold strategic discussions with UML Chairman and Managing Director Matiur Rahman, Director (Business Planning) Nayeemur Rahman, and other senior officials.

The agenda will centre on strengthening Maruti Suzuki's market presence in Bangladesh through revised marketing and sales strategies. Discussions will also explore the potential for expanding the brand's share in the rapidly growing automobile sector.
Maruti Suzuki has recently launched hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) in the Indian market, and its growing focus on sustainability aligns with the Government of Bangladesh's pro-industrialisation and green development policies.

The visit reflects the strategic importance of the Bangladesh market to Maruti Suzuki's regional ambitions. With a nationwide sales and service network and a long-standing reputation for reliability, Uttara Motors continues to uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction and automotive excellence.
