NU Vice Chancellor pays tribute on Independence Day

National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr ASM Amanullah paid floral tributes to the nation's heroic sons on the 54th anniversary of Bangladesh's emergence on the world map.
Today, March 26, 2025, in the morning, the Vice Chancellor paid tribute by placing a wreath at the altar of the National Memorial on the occasion of the great Independence Day and National Day. After paying homage to the memory of the heroic sons, he stood there in silence for some time in memory of the martyrs.
At that time, the Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Md Lutfar Rahman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Nurul Islam, Treasurer, Professor Dr ATM Zafrul Azam, Deans (acting) of various faculties, Registrars, Controllers of Examinations, heads of departments of different departments of the University, teachers, officers, students, and employees.
At the same time, wreaths were laid at the Liberation War Memorial/Martyr's Memorial in the respective divisional cities under the leadership of the directors of the National University's regional centres to pay tribute to the martyred sons of the great Liberation War of 1971. Meanwhile, at sunrise on March 26, the national and University flags were hoisted at the National University Gazipur campus, city office, and regional centres. In addition, the great Independence Day and National Day were celebrated with due dignity in the affiliated colleges of the National University.
