NSU HR Club launches HR case competition 'HR Calibration 4.0'

North South University Human Resources Club, one of NSU's five primary business clubs, has fostered future HR leaders since its inception in 2015.

The club is now organising "HR Calibration 4.0," an inter-university competition to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world HR challenges. Launched in 2016, it is the nation's first and largest HR-focused case competition, offering students from across Bangladesh the chance to test their knowledge and showcase strategic HR skills.

This year's "Bengal Tea presents HR Calibration 4.0" event began its registration on October 1st. The competition unfolds in three phases: a workshop on October 18th at NSU's Main Auditorium will kick off Phase 1, followed by online case submissions from October 18th to 21st. In Phase 2, the top 20-30 teams will solve a complex HR case, create an online video content (OVC), and present it on November 1st at NSU. The grand finale will take place on November 13th, where the six finalist teams will compete for the championship title after visiting Robi, the Strategic Partner, to gather insights for the final case.

Bengal Tea is the title sponsor, and Global Brand PLC is a co-sponsor. Other associate sponsors include G Agro Solutions, Ideal Electrical Enterprise, Mobile Matrix, LYFE, and LankaBangla Finance PLC. The event is supported by partners such as Fresh Stationery, Bridal Heritage, The Business Standard, Luminedge Legal, Perfetti Van Melle, and Robi.

Months of preparation have ensured that "Bengal Tea presents HR Calibration 4.0" will be a landmark event. This event will offer students invaluable opportunities to engage with industry leaders, apply their academic knowledge, and tackle intricate HR challenges. This year's competition promises to set new standards for HR events nationwide, shaping and inspiring the next generation of HR professionals.
