NSU trustee Benajir Ahmed elected treasurer of ACBSP South Asia regional council

Benajir Ahmed, distinguished industrialist and education advocate, has been unanimously elected Treasurer of the South Asia Regional Council of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The announcement was made at the ACBSP Annual Conference held from 19 to 22 June in Las Vegas, USA.
Mr. Ahmed is a founding life member and former chairman of the Board of Trustees of North South University (NSU), Bangladesh's first private university. His leadership experience includes serving as the former President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and the former Governor of Lions Clubs International.
ACBSP, headquartered in the United States, is a globally recognised accreditation body that promotes continuous improvement and excellence in business education. The South Asia Regional Council plays a crucial role in advancing business education standards across the region. Mr. Ahmed's election underscores the growing influence of Bangladeshi academic leadership on the international stage.
