NCC Bank joins mastercard network with three new premium cards
NCC Bank and Mastercard have entered a strategic collaboration with the launch of an exclusive portfolio of premium cards offering enhanced convenience, financial flexibility and world-class privileges.
This marks the first association between the two organisations and represents a significant milestone in their shared commitment to strengthening Bangladesh's digital payments ecosystem.
The portfolio includes three premium cards — the Multicurrency Business Debit Card, Multicurrency Platinum Debit Card and Titanium Credit Card — designed to meet the evolving needs of diverse customer segments. Equipped with contactless payment technology, dual-currency functionality and advanced security features, the new range ensures seamless and secure transactions both at home and abroad. Cardholders will also enjoy lifestyle, travel and dining privileges, along with attractive offers and discounts at more than 9,500 Mastercard partner merchants across Bangladesh, in addition to global POS, e-commerce and ATM access.
The launching ceremony was attended by Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank's Payment Systems Department; M Shamsul Arefin, managing director of NCC Bank; Gautam Aggarwal, president, South Asia, Mastercard; M Khurshed Alam, additional managing director; and deputy managing directors Md Zakir Anam, Mohammed Mizanur Rahman and Md Habibur Rahman. Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager of Mastercard Bangladesh; Zakia Sultana, director, Mastercard Bangladesh; Jubaer Hossain, lead–merchant and commerce; Osman Haidar, deputy managing director of IT Consultants PLC; and senior officials from Bangladesh Bank, NCC Bank, Mastercard and IT Consultants PLC were also present.
