MTB launches voice-assisted banking on neo app
Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has introduced a voice-assisted banking feature in Bangla and English on its digital platform MTB Neo, marking a significant milestone in the country's digital banking landscape.
The service enables customers to carry out essential banking activities — including fund transfers, MFS transfers, mobile recharge, and card and utility bill payments — using simple voice commands. The hands-free system is designed to enhance accessibility and convenience for customers seeking faster, touch-free digital interactions.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman said, "The introduction of voice-assisted banking is a testament to MTB's commitment to shaping a future-ready, inclusive digital banking ecosystem. By bringing intelligent voice-enabled processes into mainstream banking, we are making financial services more intuitive, more accessible, and aligned with the evolving needs of our customers — reflecting our promise: 'Mukher Kothatei banking hoi'."
The new feature is available in the latest version of the MTB Neo app on both Android Playstore and Apple's App Store. MTB said it will continue to strengthen its digital transformation roadmap to deliver secure, seamless, and user-centric financial services.
