Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha graduates at Southeast University's 8th convocation

Yesterday, Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha received his degree from the Department of Law at Southeast University's eighth convocation.
Southeast University's 8th convocation was held yesterday, February 27, 2025, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, Purbachal. At the convocation, Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha graduated from the Department of Law and was commended by the university for his achievements.
Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdh's twin brother, Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mughd, was shot and killed in 2024. Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mughd was an activist in the anti-discrimination student movement.
Mr. Md. Touhid Hossain, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, presided over the event, presenting the degrees to the graduating students. UGC Chairman Professor Dr S. M. A. Fayez, Southeast University Board Chairman Mr Rezaul Karim, Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M. Mofazzal Hossain, among other dignitaries, spoke at the event.
Mir Mahbubur Rahman is working to fulfil the dream of the beloved Mir Mughd.
