Meril-Prothom Alo Awards 2024 to air tonight on Maasranga TV
The glittering 26th Meril-Prothom Alo Awards 2024 ceremony, held on 23 May at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka, will be broadcast tonight, Saturday, 31 May, at 8:20pm on Maasranga Television.
The annual event, a celebration of achievements in television, film, and music, brought together stars from across Bangladesh's entertainment industry in a vibrant showcase of talent and glamour.
As per tradition, this year's festivities included a Red Carpet segment featuring more than 60 celebrities. Hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan and Indrani Nishi, the Red Carpet will be aired at 6:35pm today on Maasranga Television. Audiences can expect candid moments, heartfelt exchanges, and playful banter as stars shared their excitement before the main event.

Notable attendees on the Red Carpet included Dilara Zaman, Jewel Aich, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Bidya Sinha Mim, Runa Khan, Kona, Pritom Hasan, Khairul Basar, Sumaiya Shimu, and architect couple Rafiq Azam and Jannat Jui.
Other familiar faces who graced the occasion were Rumana Chowdhury, editor and publisher of M.W. Bangladesh magazine; Shahiduzzaman Selim, FS Nayeem, Kazi Nowshaba Ahmed, Sarika Sabah, Chandni, Jefar Rahman, Imi, Faria Shahrin, Farzana Chobi, Evan Shahriar Sohag, Mamunur Emon, Mumtahina Toya, Bhavna, Mandira Chakraborty, Dola, Hridi Sheikh, Forruk Ahmed Rehan, fashion designer Mehrin Ahmed, Riba, Zahid Pritom, and many others.
The Red Carpet segment was produced by Zobaer Iqbal, while the main awards ceremony was produced by Z I Faisal.
