Markopolo ai launches next-gen revenue agent
Markopolo AI has unveiled its new AI Revenue Agent, positioning the Bangladeshi start-up to reshape global e-commerce while accelerating its innovation journey through HF0—one of Silicon Valley's most competitive and prestigious founder residency programmes.
Markopolo AI is built as an intelligent system that analyses human behaviour and converts it into revenue. When customers leave without buying, the AI brings them back. It interprets what shoppers genuinely care about and follows up with personalised, one-to-one communication across email, SMS, and even voice calls.
The launch comes as Markopolo celebrates a major milestone: the acceptance of its co-founders, Tasfia Tasbin and Rubaiyat Farhan, into HF0 in San Francisco. HF0 selects just ten teams per cohort from thousands of applicants worldwide—with acceptance rates at or below 0.01%, far lower than many top accelerators. Through the programme, the founders have already gained direct guidance from global AI leaders, including teams from OpenAI and Midjourney.
Tasbin and Farhan's journey—from Dhaka to a globally recognised AI platform—reflects the ambition to take "Made in Bangladesh" software to the world. Their selection into HF0 marks the first time a Bangladeshi high-tech start-up has scaled into such an exclusive global circle of deep-tech founders.
Markopolo's new Revenue Agent aims to solve e-commerce's long-standing challenge: the gap between customer intention and conversion. For years, marketers have labelled basic automation as personalisation—the familiar "Hi {FirstName}" email. Markopolo's system moves far beyond this.
Instead of seeing "Sarah", the AI sees "Sarah-who-browses-at-lunch-compares-prices-and-buys-on-mobile-after-reading-reviews". It analyses behaviour, hesitation at checkout, preferred channels, and communication rhythms—delivering true individualised engagement at scale.
The company's mission is to ensure that within five years, every e-commerce transaction worldwide will be guided by an AI revenue agent. Markopolo aims to recover US$100 billion in lost revenue globally by 2030, and end the era of treating customers as anonymous segments.
"Our vision is to become a multibillion-dollar global company within the next two years. HF0 accelerates that mission as we bring world-class AI innovation from Dhaka to Silicon Valley and beyond," said CEO and Co-founder, Tasfia Tasbin.
"We've built engineering that finally enables true personalisation at global scale," added CTO and Co-founder, Rubaiyat Farhan.
One visitor. One agent. One journey—repeated millions of times. Markopolo AI positions itself as the future of global commerce, built from Bangladesh and accelerating through Silicon Valley to transform how the world sells, shops, and experiences brands.
