LGED-CReLIC hosts workshop on e-learning content development
An inception workshop on the development of e-learning content was held at the seminar room of the Local Government Engineering Department headquarters today (11 May).
The event was organised by the Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Centre under the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming Project, implemented by the Local Government Engineering Department.
The workshop was presided over by LGED Additional Chief Engineer and CReLIC Director Md Azharul Islam.
LGED Chief Engineer Md Belal Hossain attended the programme as the chief guest.
In his opening remarks, the chief engineer said e-learning would serve as a timely platform to enhance the skills of engineers in constructing modern and climate-resilient infrastructure.
"Through this inception workshop, we aim to develop high-quality content that will provide digital training even to field-level staff," he said.
During the workshop, the appointed consulting firm, ADDIE Soft Ltd, presented its plan through a PowerPoint presentation.
The presentation was led by Content Developers Md Imran Hussain and Md Mizanur Rahman, and Assistant General Manager Md Shariful Islam.
The event was attended by LGED Additional Chief Engineers Abul Bashed Mohammad Rezaul Bari, Syeda Asma Khatun, Kazi Saiful Kabir, Molla Mizanur Rahman and Md Wahiduzzaman.
Superintending Engineers Md Golam Mowla and Md Akhter Hossain were also present.
Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming Project-CReLIC Project Director Md Abdul Khalek, CReLIC Executive Engineers Md Latif Hossain and Fatema Ismat Ara, Assistant Engineer Arpan Paul, and CReLIC specialist consultants Md Abdul Noor, Md Shahidul Islam, Md Sadequr Rahman Bhuiyan, Md Masudur Rahman and Syed Mahbub Ahsan also attended the workshop.
Various project directors and executive engineers of LGED were also present at the event.
