Karmasangsthan Bank opens 283rd branch in Ishwardi
Marking a significant milestone in its expansion, Karmasangsthan Bank inaugurated its 283rd branch in Ishwardi, Pabna, on August 21, 2025.
Dr A F M Matiur Rahman, Chairman of the bank's Board of Directors and former Secretary, attended as the chief guest and officially opened the branch.
The inauguration was attended by Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank, and Md Amirul Islam, General Manager of the Audit Division, as special guests. Md Mukhlesur Rahman, Deputy General Manager of the Rajshahi Divisional Office, presided. Senior officials, including Md Moshiur Rahman, DGM of the Loan & Advance Division, and Monoj Roy, DGM of the Branch Control Division, along with local dignitaries and the press, were present.

Adding excitement to the occasion, the chief guest personally handed loan cheques to eager local entrepreneurs, sparking their journey toward success.
Following the inauguration, a business development meeting was convened at the ASM Kamal Uddin Memorial Hall of the Bangladesh Sugarcrop Research Institute in Ishwardi. Regional and branch managers from Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, and Naogaon participated in the event.
In his address, the chief guest urged bank officials to ensure rigorous loan disbursement through prudent client selection, achieve 100% of business targets from the beginning of the fiscal year, and maintain integrity and dedication.
The Managing Director highlighted the need to increase recovery rates, reduce defaulted and classified loans, and achieve all business indicators through strategic planning and diligent effort.
