Karmasangsthan Bank initiates foundation training for staff

Karmasangsthan Bank has inaugurated its Foundation Training course for officers, assistant officers, and data entry operators at the bank's head office on August 9, 2025.
Dr A F M Matiur Rahman, chairman of the board of directors and former secretary to the government, attended the event as the chief guest and officially launched the course.
Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana were present as special guests, while General Manager Mahmuda Yasmin presided over the ceremony. A K M Kamruzzaman, principal of the training institute and deputy general manager, was also present.
In his speech, the chairman urged participants to apply the knowledge gained from the training in their workplaces to help achieve the core objectives of Karmasangsthan Bank. He also emphasised prioritising loan disbursement to new entrepreneurs.
The managing director encouraged participants to apply the skills they had acquired to provide superior customer service and called for collective efforts to strengthen Karmasangsthan Bank as a service-oriented and sustainable institution.
The programme was conducted by Md Shafiul Alam Khan, Assistant General Manager of the training institute. A total of 40 participants from various branches of the bank are taking part in the course.
