Karmasangsthan Bank calls for quality lending to create entrepreneurs
Karmasangsthan Bank reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship and robust business performance at its 2026 Business Review Meeting, held in Sylhet on Saturday as part of a 90-day special programme.
The meeting took place at Rainbow Guest House in Sylhet and brought together all Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and Second Officers from the Sylhet Divisional Office.
Dr A F M Matiur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors and former Secretary, attended as chief guest.
Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury and General Manager Md Amirul Islam were present as special guests.
Khaled Mohammad Jahangir, Deputy General Manager of the Sylhet Divisional Office, chaired the session.
Manoj Roy, Deputy General Manager of the Law, Research and Development Department at the Head Office, also attended.
The chief guest underscored the importance of quality loan disbursement and sustainable entrepreneurship.
He called for better performance across all business indicators in Sylhet branches through integrated initiatives, greater responsibility, and sincerity.
He highlighted the need to boost the loan recovery rate and loan balance, and to expedite the recovery of classified, defaulted, and written-off loans to ensure successful programme implementation.
He urged all employees to work professionally and with accountability to achieve 100 per cent of the targets set by the Head Office.
