JP Morgan Chase honours Brac Bank with four quality awards
BRAC Bank has received four 2025 Elite Quality Recognition Awards from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., recognising the bank's exceptional Straight-Through Processing (STP) performance in international payment operations.
With this milestone, BRAC Bank became the only local bank in Bangladesh to secure all four distinctions from the American banking giant in a single year.
The awards highlight the bank's industry-leading efficiency, accuracy and automation in cross-border transactions. Leveraging a strong digital infrastructure and robust operational control, BRAC Bank achieved 99.93% STP in MT202 (USD Clearing), 99.87% in MT103, 99.60% in MT202 and 99.66% in MT202 (Euro), earning both Elite and Standard Quality Recognition Awards across USD and Euro clearing categories.
Karl Yeh, Managing Director and Head of Public Sector Coverage for Asia Pacific, handed over the award plaques to Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, at the bank's head office in Dhaka on 16 November 2025.
Also present were Sazzad Anam, Executive Director and Head of Bangladesh Representative Office, J.P. Morgan; and Md Shaheen Iqbal, CFA, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Banking, BRAC Bank; along with other senior officials.

The annual J.P. Morgan STP Awards, first introduced in 1997, honour banks worldwide for exceptional accuracy in automated fund transfer operations under MT103 and MT202 standards.
