Job Fair 2025 links TECN graduates with top textile firms

The Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN) campus hosted Job Fair 2025 on Saturday, connecting students directly with major industry employers.
Presented by She-STEM and organised by the TECN Career Club, the event focused on launching graduates into textile sector careers.
The fair opened with A H M Habibur Rahman, Director and CEO of Paramount Textile PLC, as chief guest. The event provided a direct platform for final-year students and fresh graduates. They met hiring managers from Fakir Knitwears Ltd, Paramount Textile PLC, and Anwar Group (Textile Division). Several participants secured on-the-spot interviews after submitting CVs and networking with recruiters.
Key HR and industry representatives attending the fair included Sawfen Huda Sahed, Senior Executive, Strategic HR, Fakir Group; Azimul Alam Arif, Executive, Group HR, Anwar Group; and Md Sohel Rana, Senior AGM, Marketing, Paramount Textile PLC.
Support also came from the TECN Alumni Association, whose members now hold senior positions in the industry, including Saidul Karim Riaz, Merchandising Manager, Hamim Group; Ataullah Farhan, Manager, Global Kemi Industries Ltd; Md Shaheen Khandakar Naeem, Manager, Washing Plant, Fakir Fashion Ltd; and Tamim Parvez, Assistant Manager, Pan Pure Chemicals Bangladesh.
The event was chaired by TECN Principal Engineer Mohammad Abdur Rokib. It was designed not only as a recruitment platform but also as a long-term talent pipeline connecting classrooms and boardrooms. Organisers highlighted the goal of providing students with internships, job placements, and practical industry exposure. They also aimed to enable employers to access a pool of skilled graduates.
"This initiative will be a game-changer in preparing students for industry demands and creating new employment pathways," said Imran Hossain Anik, President of the TECN Career Club, alongside General Secretary Saif Uddin Bappy.
