JCI Dhaka North inaugurates 2025 board of directors

The office of the local board of directors of JCI Dhaka North was declared, followed by the general assembly held in the capital's Ascott Palace on January 14, 2025.

During the occasion, members of the 2025 national governing boards (NGB) of JCI Bangladesh were present to uplift the spirit of the declared 2025 office of the board of directors of JCI Dhaka North. The list includes but is not limited to Mr Kazi Fahad, national president; Mr Zafir Shafee Chowdhury, national secretary general; Mr Irfan Uddin, national treasurer; and Mr Masrur Mahmood Shuvo, national vice president, and also chapter mentor for 2025 of JCI Dhaka North.

Among the past local presidents, the founding president of JCI Dhaka North, Senator Data Magfur was present during the event along with 2003's Senator Anirban Aftab, 2013's Rebeka Sultana Binti, 2014's Seefat Jahan, 2017's Senator Delwar Hossain, 2019's Senator Mahira Habib, 2021's Fatima Akter Naz, 2022's Senator Shakhawat Hossain.

The event was further graced by reputed industry professionals, community leaders, journalists, and media personalities. Senator Tushar Malek, 2025 Strategic Planning Chairperson of JCI Bangladesh, chaired the election committee.

Ms Sumaiya Haque was elected as the organisation's new local president. JCI Dhaka North 2024 local president Shahriar Hasan Jiisun officially handed over the presidential chain to the newly elected 2025 local president of JCI Dhaka North.

The elected local vice presidents were S M Mohiuddin Salim and Noor E Ashrafi, and Shafiuddin Ala Raju was the elected local executive vice president. The other elected officeholders on the board of directors for the 2025 term were Zakia Ferdous Nondita as local secretary general, Asif M Shabab as local general legal counsel, Md Nur Nabi Mehedi is the local treasurer, and Naimul Kader is the local training commissioner.

The office of the board of directors for 2025 comprised Rashad Reaz as executive assistant to the local president and Shaikh Ahmed Showmik as JCI in Business (JIB) Chairperson. The selected local directors were Irfanur Rahman, Fardin Al Gafur, Mohammad Aliur Rahman Sohan, M Mehrab Mansur, and Tribeni Biswas Alice.The selected local committee chairs were Farzana Islam Moury, Md. Rezwanul Haque Zahin, and Nayem Hossain Mojumder.
