JCI Dhaka Independent hosts CYE activation at Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College

JCI Dhaka Independent hosted a dynamic Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) Campus Activation at Sylhet M.A.G Osmani Medical College (SOMC) on May 19, 2025, igniting entrepreneurial passion among over 50 aspiring medical students.
The session introduced the JCI-initiated CYE programme and highlighted its role in empowering young innovators, particularly within the healthcare sector.

The event was graced by the Principal of SOMC, who shared compelling insights on healthcare entrepreneurship, encouraging students to look beyond clinical practice. Mr K M Mezbah Rahman, Local President, and Mr SMO Nawed, Local Director, of JCI Dhaka Independent led the event.

This initiative marks a pivotal step toward integrating entrepreneurship into medical education. JCI Dhaka Independent believes that the next wave of healthcare innovation in Bangladesh will be led by these future doctors, not just in hospitals, but through impactful startups.
