Islami Bank signs MOU with American Wellness Centre

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and American Wellness Centre Bangladesh on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at the Islami Bank Tower.

Under the agreement, Islami Bank's officers, employees and their family members, as well as debit and credit cardholders, will receive health check-ups, wellness programmes and lifestyle modification services from American Wellness Center Bangladesh on a priority basis and with special privileges.

The services covered under the agreement include healthcare and lifestyle services, functional and integrative medicine consultation, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, disease prevention and management programmes, ozone therapy, physiotherapy, PRP therapy, phototherapy, diagnostic and laboratory testing, and health education and awareness campaigns.

In the presence of Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of the bank, the MoU was signed by Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, additional managing director of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Md Mahbubul Haque, chairman of American Wellness Center Bangladesh, on behalf of their respective organisations.

Md Maznuzzaman, executive vice-president of the bank, and Kamrul Hasan, operations manager of American Wellness Center Bangladesh, along with executives and officials from both organisations, were present at the event.

Under the agreement, beneficiaries will receive 100% free doctor consultation, 100% free nutritionist counselling, a 35% discount on diagnostic tests, a 20% discount on ozone therapy, a 20% discount at Green Kitchen, a healthy restaurant, and a 20% discount on Gio Natural Products. They will also be able to attend health seminars free of charge.
