Islami Bank remittance client wins motorcycle through RIA campaign
Md Ataur Rahman, a client of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC's North Shahjahanpur sub-branch in Dhaka, has been awarded a motorcycle for collecting cash remittance via Ria Money Transfer.
Additional Managing Director Md Altaf Hossain ceremonially handed over the motorcycle key to Rahman at the bank's VIP Road Branch on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
Other attendees included Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam; Head of VIP Road Branch Md Noorullah; Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain; North Shahjahanpur sub-branch in-charge Mohammad Masum Billah; Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh Country Manager Rashedul Islam Talukder; and Assistant Manager Operations Md Arafat Hossain.
The bank stated that the campaign, launched for Ramadan, will see 20 motorcycles awarded through digital raffle draws to customers receiving cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer at Islami Bank.
One motorcycle will be awarded on each banking day from Sunday to Thursday, with remittance recipients also eligible for additional gift items. The campaign will continue until 18 March 2026.
