Islami Bank relocates Banani branch to century trade centre
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has relocated its Banani branch to Century Trade Centre, Holding No. 23, Road No. 17, Banani, Dhaka.
The branch at the new location was inaugurated on Saturday, 28 February 2026, by Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director, as the chief guest.
A K M Mahbub Morshed, senior executive vice-president and head of Dhaka North Zone, presided over the programme. Md Maznuzzaman, executive vice-president; Professor Md Shahjahan, former registrar, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board; and Muhammad Nazrul Islam, former additional secretary, attended as special guests.

Maulana Md Abul Kalam Azad, khatib of Banani Central Mosque, attended as chief discussant. Md Habibur Rahman, head of Banani branch, delivered the welcome address.
Clients and local dignitaries were also present.
