Islami Bank launches month-long campaign

 Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC launched a month-long "Savings for Welfare" campaign and two new products—the Digital Daan (Donation) Box and the Mudaraba Umrah Savings Scheme—on 2 March 2025 at the Islami Bank Tower. 

Obayed Ullah Al Masud, chairman of the bank, graced the program as the chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director, presided over the event while Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, executive committee chairman, Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, Md. Omar Faruk Khan and Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, additional managing directors, were present as special guests. Md. Altaf Hossain, additional managing director, addressed the welcome speech. A K M Mahbub Morshed, head of the development wing, and Md Maznuzzaman, head of the business promotion and marketing division, addressed the event. Senior executives and officials from the head office were present. Besides heads of zones, heads of branches and sub-branchs in the bank attended the function through a virtual platform.

During the campaign, the bank emphasized promoting the Mudaraba Hajj Savings Account, Mudaraba Waqf Cash Deposit Account, Mudaraba Muhor Savings Account, Mudaraba Bibaho Savings Account, Digital Daan (Donation) Box, and Mudaraba Umrah Savings Scheme to enhance their popularity and reach.
