Islami Bank to give away 20 motorcycles in ramadan remittance campaign
Renu Begum, a customer of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC's Naria branch in Shariatpur, has won the fourth motorcycle in the bank's cash remittance campaign conducted through Ria Money Transfer, the bank stated.
Begum received the prize for a remittance of Tk85,300 sent from Italy by Masum Hossain.
The digital raffle draw took place at Islami Bank Tower on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, with Md Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of the bank, present as chief guest.
Also present were Md Motahar Hossain Mollah, Senior Vice President; Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Vice President; and Rashedul Islam Talukder, Country Manager of Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh.
The bank stated that it will give away a total of 20 motorcycles—one on each banking day (Sunday–Thursday)—through digital raffle draws among customers receiving cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer during Ramadan. Remittance recipients will also receive gifts, the bank added. The offer will continue until 18 March 2026.
