Islami Bank achieves award for digital banking services

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC received the Accessible Digital Banking Services award for its significant contribution to providing disability-friendly banking services through the 'Cellfin' application.
The prize was handed over during a programme organised by Aspire to Innovate (a2i) on the occasion of Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2025, on Thursday, 15 May 2025, at the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) auditorium. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, as the chief guest, handed over the award to Professor Dr Masud Rahman, Director of Islami Bank.
Md Maksudur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary for the Information and Communication Division, Mohammad Rezaul Karim, and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, the executive vice president, and other bank officials attended the programme.
