IPDC hosts Women Entrepreneur Incentive Programme 2025

IPDC Finance PLC., in partnership with Bangladesh Bank, hosted the Women Entrepreneur Incentive Programme 2025 to recognise outstanding women entrepreneurs from across Bangladesh for their resilience, timely loan repayments, and business excellence in the CMSME sector.

This year's awardees represented diverse regions including Dhaka, Jessore, Bogura, Barishal, Sylhet, Faridpur, Rangpur, Chattogram, and Mymensingh. They were selected based on entrepreneurial merit, consistent business performance, financial discipline, and their positive impact on local communities. Each recipient received a financial incentive aimed at strengthening and expanding their business ventures.

The Programme marks an important step in IPDC's ongoing commitment to empowering women-led enterprises nationwide. Alongside financial support, the initiative included capacity-building efforts such as training on digital money management, reflecting IPDC's vision of fostering a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem where women can thrive and lead.

A key feature of the event was a training session titled "From Cash to Cashless: Digital Money Management," which offered practical guidance on digital financial tools, mobile payment systems, and sustainable business practices. The session was attended by both awardees and aspiring women entrepreneurs, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and enhancing financial literacy.

Lutfor Nahar, owner of M/S Oishi Store and one of the awardees, expressed, "This incentive is more than a financial reward; it is recognition of our journey and struggles. It motivates me to dream bigger and expand my store with renewed confidence. I sincerely thank IPDC Finance PLC. and Bangladesh Bank for this valuable support."

Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC., stated, "We believe in recognising not just success but also potential. These remarkable women are shaping the future of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. We are proud to support their journeys through both recognition and education, paving the way for a more inclusive financial ecosystem."

The Women Entrepreneur Incentive Programme 2025 reaffirms IPDC's dedication to creating a sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurial environment while accelerating women's empowerment across the country.
