IFIC Bank hosts 2025 Uposhakha Business Meet with over 2,500 officers
IFIC Bank PLC, the largest bank in the country with 1,414 branches and sub-branches (Uposhakhas), successfully hosted its Uposhakha Business Meet 2025 on Monday, 21 July at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower, Dhaka.
The event was attended by the Hon'ble Chairman of IFIC Bank, Mr Md Mehmood Husain, as Chief Guest. Managing Director Mr Syed Mansur Mustafa, Deputy Managing Directors, and senior officials were also present. The hybrid event saw the participation of more than 2,500 officers from across the country, who joined virtually.
In his speech, Mr Mehmood Husain attributed the bank's sustained growth to the trust of its valued customers and the dedication of its employees. He highlighted the strong performance of Uposhakhas in deposit mobilisation, even amidst recent sectoral challenges, and expressed confidence in IFIC emerging as the banking partner of choice at the grassroots level.

Managing Director Mr Syed Mansur Mustafa underscored the pivotal role played by the bank's dynamic and expansive workforce, reiterating IFIC's commitment to employee development and career advancement initiatives.
The programme commenced with a strategic overview presented by Mr Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Branch Business, and concluded with an engaging Q&A session involving officers from various regions.
