IAB Vice Chancellor pays tribute at National Memorial
On the occasion of the great independence and national day, the Vice Chancellor of Islamic Arabic University, Professor Dr Shamsul Alam paid profound respect to the souls of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great war of independence at the Savar National Memorial on Wednesday (26 March 2025) morning.
Currently, the University's Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Mohammad Shahidul Islam; pro-vice chancellor, Professor Mohammad Abu Zafar Khan; treasurer, Mr. ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili; registrar, Md. Ayub Hossain; Director (Planning and Development), Professor Dr. Md. Rafiq Al-Mamun; and Deputy Director (Planning and Development), Mr Ziaur Rahman, along with teachers, officers, and employees of all levels of the university, were present.
Later, special prayers and supplications were offered, seeking forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs.
