HSBC Export Excellence Awards 2025 deadline extended to 25 September

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited in Bangladesh has extended the submission deadline for the 'HSBC Export Excellence Awards 2025' until 25 September 2025 to encourage more nominations. The programme recognises and honours exporters from Bangladesh for their contribution to the sustainable growth of the country.
Exporters can nominate themselves for the title of 'Exporter of the Year' in four categories by completing a simple nomination form. The categories of HSBC Export Excellence Awards 2025 are:
Export Excellence: Ready-made Garments – Export revenue of USD100 million and above. All apparel products that are part of the mainstream RMG sector.
Export Excellence: Ready-made Garments Backward Linkage – Export revenue of USD50 million and above. Products that support the RMG and other manufacturing sectors.
Export Excellence: Non-traditional and Emerging Sectors – Manufacturing – Export revenue of USD10 million and above. Includes electronics, light engineering, plastics, furniture, footwear, leather goods, agro-processing, automotive components, and more.
Export Excellence: Non-traditional and Emerging Sectors – Service – Export revenue of USD5 million and above. Includes professional, digital or knowledge-based services.
The awards programme is supported by programme partners: Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and The British High Commission Dhaka. KPMG Advisory Services Limited will act as the technical partner for auditing. Adjudication will be carried out by a Jury Board comprising members from HSBC senior management, Ministry of Commerce, and British High Commission Dhaka. Winners will be selected based on their annual contribution to national exports and the economy, diversity, responsibility, sustainable business practices, governance, regulatory compliance, and other criteria.
The awards programme is open to all enterprises and entrepreneurs operating in Bangladesh and is not exclusive to HSBC customers. There is no entry fee or financial recognition.
