Hamdard provides free healthcare nationwide to mark independence day

Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh organised free medical camps and distributed medicines across 300 medical and sales centres nationwide in celebration of Independence and National Day. Patients received complimentary medical consultations and essential medicines as part of the initiative.

The central event was held at Hamdard's Urban Marketing Centre in Banglamotor on Wednesday, 26 March 2025, at 10:30 AM. Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, Managing Director & Chief Mutawalli of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh and Founder of Hamdard University Bangladesh, attended as the chief guest, while Professor Hakim Kamrun Nahar Harun, Senior Director (Planning & Development), presided over the event.

Special guests included Amirul Momenin Manik, Director (Information & Public Relations), Brig Gen (Retd) Mahbub Anwar, Director of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh, and Dr Taimur Chowdhury, Deputy Director (Marketing), alongside other Hamdard officials and employees.

Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan highlighted that, following the 5 August mass uprising, Bangladesh has embarked on a path against inequality and corruption. He reaffirmed Hamdard Bangladesh's commitment to ensuring people's rights to healthcare and education, stating that countless individuals continue to benefit from its services. He called on everyone to uphold honesty and dedicate themselves to humanitarian service for the nation's progress.
