Hamdard Bangladesh unveils new herbal mouthwash

The Board of Trustees of Hamdard Bangladesh held its latest meeting at the organisation's head office in Banglamotor, Dhaka. The session was chaired by National Professor Dr A K Azad Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Among the attendees were Professor Dr Chowdhury Mahmud Hasan, Vice-Chairman of the Board and former Chairman of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), who is also a former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Dhaka; Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, Secretary General of the Board and Managing Director & Chief Mutawalli of Hamdard Bangladesh; economist and Chairman of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) Professor Abu Ahmed; Dr Muhammad Abdul Mazid, former Chairman of the National Board of Revenue and current Chairman of the Social Development Foundation (SDF); newly appointed Waqf Administrator Md Nur-e-Alam; Professor Dr Iqbal Hasan Mahmud, Ekushey Padak recipient and UN-recognised pulmonologist; former senior district judge Abul Hossain Khandakar; and Maulana Md Abdul Munayem.
Also present were Professor Hakim Kamrun Nahar Polin, Senior Director of Marketing & Sales and Planning & Development; Bashir Ahmad, Director of Production; Amirul Momenin Manik, Director of Information and Public Relations; Brigadier General (Retd.) Mahbub Anwar, Director of Hamdard Foundation; Professor Dr Manjurul Alam, Vice Chancellor of Hamdard University Bangladesh; Md Nazmul Karim FCA, Director of Finance & Accounts; Md Abdul Majid, Company Secretary and Director of Administration; Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Director of Administration and Acting Director of Legal & Protocol; Dr Abul Taimur Chowdhury, Deputy Director of Marketing; and Hakim Abu Yousuf Abdul Haque, Assistant Director of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh.
During the meeting, newly appointed Waqf Administrator Md Nur-e-Alam was formally welcomed with flowers. The packaging of a new product, CloveGuard — an antiseptic mouthwash enriched with clove oil — was officially unveiled. The product is designed to support natural oral care and aligns with Hamdard's ongoing focus on herbal and preventive healthcare.
The board also held strategic discussions on Hamdard Bangladesh's future direction and its continuing role in humanitarian service.
