Frobel academy stages climate-themed annual concert
Frobel Academy held its Annual Concert 2025 on 22 November at United Convention Hall, Bahaddarhat, Chattogram.
The Cambridge Associate and STEM-accredited institution, which currently offers the IGCSE/O Level programme and has plans to introduce A levels, centred this year's event on the theme of 'Climate Change'.
The concert promoted environmental awareness through Frobel Cares, the school's sustainability initiative. Pupils delivered performances exploring the urgency of climate change and advocating responsible, eco-friendly practices.
The programme sought to encourage the school community to adopt sustainable habits, while providing a platform for pupils to express their creativity and develop confidence.
An art exhibition by I CAN pupils showcased work reflecting environmental themes and personal interpretations of climate resilience. In one segment, pupils presented plants to their parents as a symbolic reminder that sustainable action begins at home.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr Bhaskar Chakraborty, Consultant Oncologist at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital; Mohammed Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of PHP Family; Zohair Taherali, Finance Director of BSRM Group; and Abdul Qadir, Director of BSRM Group. Frobel Academy was represented by Principal and Director Huwra (Tehseen) Zohair, Co-founder and Director Sabeen Aameir, and Head of School Nusrat Khan.
Their presence underscored a shared commitment to raising climate awareness and supporting the school's efforts to promote sustainability through education.
