Exim Bank inaugurates Hajj booth at Ashkona Hajj Camp
Exim Bank has inaugurated a dedicated Hajj booth at the Ashkona Hajj Camp on 28 April 2025 to facilitate services for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The inaugural ceremony was held at the Exim Bank booth, where M Akhter Hossain, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Exim Bank, attended as chief guest. Md Lokman Hossain, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Director of the Hajj Office, was present as special guest.
Also in attendance were Mohammad Zulkernine, Senior Vice President and Head of the Shari'ah Secretariat of Exim Bank, owners of various Hajj agencies, senior executives from Exim Bank, and officials from the Hajj Office.

The booth will offer round-the-clock support to pilgrims, including information related to the Hajj process, passport endorsement assistance, foreign currency exchange services.
The initiative aims to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for Bangladeshi pilgrims as they prepare for their sacred journey.
