ELB PLC, Rock Energy team up to boost castrol lubricant supply to government sector
Eastern Lubricants Blenders PLC (ELB PLC) and Rock Energy Ltd have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen the supply of authentic Castrol lubricants through government channels in Bangladesh.
The collaboration was unveiled at an event titled "A New Chapter of Collaboration" held at The Westin Dhaka.
Md Aminul Ahsan, Chairman of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC), attended as chief guest and said the partnership would help improve efficiency, transparency, and service quality in the government lubricant supply chain.
Engineer Mohammad Shahidul Alam, Managing Director of Eastern Lubricants Blenders PLC, highlighted ELB PLC's long-standing legacy and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality lubricant solutions nationwide.
From Rock Energy Ltd, Managing Director Tanzeem Chowdhury and CEO Khaled Hossain outlined their strategic vision for the collaboration.
The programme was also attended by the Managing Directors of Padma Oil PLC, Jamuna Oil Company Ltd, Meghna Petroleum Ltd, Eastern Refinery Ltd, LP Gas Ltd, and the CEO of Standard Asiatic Oil Company Ltd.
They welcomed the initiative, noting that ELB PLC's commitment to expanding the availability of world-class lubricants, together with Rock Energy's distribution capabilities, would help modernise supply to government and institutional clients.
The partnership aims to blend ELB PLC's industry heritage with Rock Energy's market expertise to strengthen nationwide distribution efficiency.
With Castrol's global reputation and proven performance, the collaboration is expected to enhance service assurance and reinforce confidence in Bangladesh's lubricant supply ecosystem.
