EBL to provide payroll banking services to Transcom Electronics
Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) signed an agreement to provide payroll banking to Transcom Electronics and Bangladesh Lamps employees.
Under this arrangement, employees will have access to a wide range of financial services, including salary accounts, debit and credit cards, personal loans, and seamless banking through EBL's digital platforms—Skybanking and EBL Connect.
Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking, Eastern Bank, and Ruhul Amin, Chief Financial Officer of Bangladesh Lamps, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a ceremony held at EBL's head office in Dhaka.

Also present at the signing were Mehadi Hasan Bin Ghani, Head of HR and Administration at Transcom Electronics; Trisha Taklim, Head of Payroll Banking at EBL; and other senior officials from both organisations.
This partnership aims to offer employees of both companies a rewarding and streamlined banking experience.
