DU VC meets education minister at Secretariat
University of Dhaka Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan paid a courtesy call on Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon at the secretariat on 19 February 2026, according to a press release.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the Education Minister and conveyed his best wishes. He also invited the Minister to visit the University of Dhaka campus.
Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan handed over a booklet to the Minister outlining the university's education and research activities, as well as recent initiatives taken for student welfare.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that the Minister would be briefed in detail, through a full meeting, on the university's education and research programmes and overall issues, including campus security and stability.
The Education Minister assured possible cooperation to support the overall development of education and research at the University of Dhaka.
