Import LC settlements edge up 0.09% in FY26

A letter of credit (LC) is a bank-issued guarantee that ensures a seller receives payment from a buyer, provided the terms and conditions of the LC are fully met. In Bangladesh, LC settlements totalled $70.41 billion in FY26, an increase of 0.09% from $70.34 billion in FY25.
