The Creative IT Institute hosted the Creative IT Career Fest 2025, a two-day event that united top tech companies, brands, and HR leaders to generate opportunities for young people and drive Bangladesh's digital economy.
The fest took place on 23–24 August in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The event was inaugurated by Monir Hosen, chairman of Creative Business Group. He said: "Bangladesh's youth are our greatest strength. Through this fest, we have not only created job opportunities, but also inspired them with confidence, networks, and the courage to shape the nation's future."
Over 20 prominent industry leaders shared their insights with students, covering topics such as leadership, branding, AI, creativity, and cybersecurity. Executives from Optimizely, Daffodil Group, Shikho, Grameenphone, Nagad, Microsoft, and Web Fontaine participated in the event. Speakers emphasized adaptability, storytelling, agile leadership, and leveraging AI for growth.
The fest also featured a robust on-spot job fair with 14 companies, including Bdjobs.com, CCPL, Betopia Group, BRIDGE Chemie, Plexus Cloud, and BINARYcgi. Over 1,200 applications were submitted, with several candidates hired on-site.
With the theme "A Gateway to Tomorrow's Careers," the campus became a hub of collaboration and opportunity. Students participated in interviews, received offers, and interacted with industry leaders. Organisers described the Career Fest as a practical springboard for developing Bangladesh's next tech professionals.
