Dutch-Bangla Bank to buy Tk1,016cr building for new head office

Dutch-Bangla Bank has announced its decision to purchase a 21.5-storey commercial building at a cost of Tk1,016 crore for its new corporate head office.
According to a decision filed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange today (27 August), the bank will buy the building in the Motijheel commercial area. The decision will be implemented, subject to securing the Bangladesh Bank's approval.
In 2024, the bank posted a consolidated net profit of Tk473 crore, significantly lower than the Tk800 crore in the previous year.
