City Bank launches ‘Amex Member Week’ offers
City Bank is set to celebrate Amex Member Week for the first time in Bangladesh, from 1–7 November 2025, offering exclusive benefits, cashback rewards, and special promotions for American Express (Amex) cardmembers nationwide.
The week-long celebration marks another milestone in City Bank's enduring partnership with American Express, and aims to express gratitude to cardmembers while making their daily spending more rewarding.
During the campaign, all City Bank American Express consumer credit card members will enjoy 20% cashback on payments made at selected merchant categories across Bangladesh, including shopping, dining, electronics, entertainment, jewellery, beauty salons, and furniture. The offer will be available in major cities nationwide and is subject to terms and conditions.

City Bank is also introducing additional rewards for Mobile Financial Service (MFS) users during the campaign. Cardmembers who load money into their MFS wallets using their Amex cards will receive bonus Membership Rewards points and special cashback benefits, encouraging the use of secure digital payments.
In addition, a Merchant Incentive Programme will recognise and reward top-performing Amex-affiliated merchants in key categories such as motorbikes, electronics, and mobile phones. The initiative is designed to strengthen merchant engagement and enhance the overall experience for Amex users.
