Children's art competition held at finlay south city shopping mall

In celebration of International Mother Language Day, a vibrant children's art competition occurred at the state-of-the-art Finlay South City Shopping Mall on Friday, 28 February 2025.

The event, jointly organised by Finlay Properties Limited and the Finlay South City Shop Owners Association, brought a cheerful atmosphere to the mall.
Around 300 students from classes 1 to 4, representing various well-known educational institutions in Chattogram, participated in the competition. The first phase of the event featured a judging panel comprising artist Ahmed Nawaz, Professor Pranab Mitra Chowdhury, fashion designer Sultana Nurjahan, and H. M. Ilyas. After the judges' meticulous review, 11 young participants were selected for awards.

The second phase, the prize distribution ceremony, was held in the afternoon on Level 7 of the Finlay South City Shopping Mall. The event's chief guest was the Managing Director of Finlay Properties Limited, Mufakhharul Islam Khasru. Special guests included Engineer Mizbahur Rahman, Mahbubur Rahman, Abdul Mabud Shamsher, President of the Finlay South City Shop Owners Association Mohammad Ali, and General Secretary Ayub Khan.
Impressed by the children's artistic talent, Mufakhharul Islam Khasru expressed his intention to organise similar events on a larger scale. The event concluded with the 11 winners being honoured with certificates and prizes.
