CEMS-Global USA launches four major international exhibitions at ICCB

As Bangladesh continues its remarkable economic ascent, attention is increasingly turning to sectors that hold the key to sustainable development – medical, healthcare, food production, and agro-processing.

Recognising this strategic shift, CEMS-Global USA, one of the world's foremost multinational exhibition organisers, is organising a powerful series of international exhibitions in Dhaka.

These exhibitions, scheduled from 8 to 10 May 2025 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), aim to serve as a catalytic platform for innovation, investment, and global collaboration.

The inauguration ceremony of the event was honoured by the presence of Mr. Thijs Woudstra as the Guest of Honour and was presided over by Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific. Other special guests were Mr Abul Hashem, President, Bangladesh Agro-Processors' Association, Ms Nuria Lopez, Chairperson, European Union Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh, Mr Mahbub Baset, Chief Operating Officer, Ifad Multi Products Limited, Ms. Ishrat Fatema, Deputy Country Director, Swisscontact.

Each exhibition addresses a crucial pillar of Bangladesh's development strategy, drawing together international expertise, regional stakeholders, and forward-thinking enterprises under one roof.

At the forefront of this initiative is the 16th edition of Meditex Bangladesh, the country's flagship medical and healthcare trade exhibition. The Agro Processing Global Gateway will combine high-level seminars and a specialised exhibition to address some of the sector's most pressing challenges and opportunities. Topics range from export market diversification and SME empowerment to certification standards, investment facilitation, and technologies. The program will also explore global trends such as sustainable agro-processing, traceability, digital supply chains, and access to finance, all crucial elements in enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to scale effectively.
