BUFT donates Taka 15.5 lakh to Chief Adviser’s Fund for flood relief

BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has donated Taka 15.5 lakh to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund of the Interim Government of Bangladesh to support communities affected by the recent floods. Pro Vice-Chancellor of BUFT, Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, handed over the pay order to Mr. Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Honorable Adviser of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, at a ceremony held at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
This donation is part of BUFT's ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives. Several key university officials were present at the event, including Prof. Md. Muinuddin Khan, Distinguished Professor and Dean, Faculty of Business Studies and Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences; Mr Md. Rafiquzzaman, Registrar; Mr Mohammed Nazmul Hossain, Chief Financial Officer; and Mr. Mohammad Imtiaj, Head of Public Relations.
Prof. Khan emphasised BUFT's commitment to supporting communities in need, while the Adviser expressed gratitude for the donation and encouraged others to contribute to flood relief efforts. The recent floods have caused widespread devastation across the country, and BUFT's contribution will assist in providing essential relief and rehabilitation to the affected regions.
