British High Court quashes warrants used in Mountbatten-Windsor home raids
Thames Valley Police has admitted at the British High Court that search warrants used to raid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's homes during his February arrest were unlawful. The warrants were quashed after a judicial review found they should have been issued under Section 9 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
However, the wider investigation into alleged misconduct in public office remains active. Documents and electronic devices seized during the raids will remain with police until a court hearing scheduled for 2027. Mountbatten-Windsor denies wrongdoing concerning Jeffrey Epstein.
