BRAC University welcomed students of its Fall 2025 semester through an orientation programme held on its Merul Badda campus on Monday (6 October), with Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen attending as the chief guest.
"The present generation dreams of rebuilding Bangladesh on the foundation of good governance, human development, and justice," said Momen. "I believe you can make Bangladesh truly prosperous. You have shown that, and I believe you can," he added, urging students to be inspired by the life and philosophy of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar advised students to act responsibly towards the country, nation, and society. "We all have to work together for the welfare of humanity. That is why the Creator sent us to this world," he said, warning against the indiscriminate use of the internet and artificial intelligence.
