Brac bank wins global innovation award for automated transaction profiling

BRAC Bank has won the Gold Award in the Process Innovation category at the 10th Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2025 for its initiative—Automated Transaction Profiling Review and Adjustment.

Nurun Nahar Begum, Chief Technology Officer of BRAC Bank, accepted the award at a ceremony hosted by Infosys Finacle. The award recognised BRAC Bank's success in embedding intelligent automation within its core banking systems, enhancing both regulatory compliance and customer risk assessment capabilities.

Selected from more than 300 nominations across 10 competitive categories, the award affirms BRAC Bank's focus on operational excellence and technology-led transformation.

The winning solution uses real-time intelligence and automation to streamline transaction profiling, replacing manual processes with a robust digital framework. The system enhances customer segmentation, minimises operational risk, and ensures faster and more accurate compliance with financial regulations.
