BRAC Bank revamps Dyuti banking services for govt employees
BRAC Bank has revamped its specialised banking proposition, Dyuti, with an enhanced savings account and a new salary account for employees of the government, autonomous bodies and state-owned organisations.
According to a press release, the revamped proposition offers preferential banking benefits, digital services, and tailored financial solutions for eligible customers.
Since its launch, Dyuti has served as BRAC Bank's specialised banking proposition for government employees.
The bank said the revamp marked the next phase of Dyuti and reflected its broader approach to creating greater value for this customer segment across their banking relationships.
The enhanced Dyuti Savings Account offers a free Visa multi-currency debit card for the first year, free intercity transactions and SMS alerts.
Customers maintaining an average balance of Tk50,000 will not be charged an account maintenance fee.
The account also provides monthly interest, access to Astha digital banking and round-the-clock customer support.
The new Dyuti Salary Account is for government employees who receive their salaries through BRAC Bank.
The account offers five free withdrawals from other banks' ATMs each month and a free first 10-leaf cheque book.
Customers may also access tailored financial solutions, including special offers on personal loans and credit cards, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria.
BRAC Bank said the enhanced savings account and new salary account would allow government employees to choose a banking arrangement suited to their needs, whether they wanted a dedicated savings product or to select the bank as their salary banking partner.
Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network at BRAC Bank Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque said, "Government employees play a vital role in running the state and advancing the country's development. Their contribution deserves banking services that are modern, personalised and built around their evolving needs."
"Through Dyuti, we aim to bring them technology-enabled banking, tailored financial solutions and a range of privileges that recognise the value of their service," he added.
Government employees can open a Dyuti account at any BRAC Bank branch or through the bank's 24/7 call centre at 16221.
Existing customers may also transfer their salary arrangements to BRAC Bank to access the benefits of the Dyuti Salary Account, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
