BRAC Bank partners with Veloxpays to launch app-based remittance service
BRAC Bank has partnered with VeloxPays Pty Ltd to offer app-based remittance services for Bangladeshi wage earners.
AUSTRAC regulates VeloxPays, which provides customers with a secure, user-friendly mobile app and online platform. Customers may transfer funds at any time, from anywhere, with just a few clicks.
Seamless API integration fully automates, secures, and enables real-time remittances from VeloxPays to BRAC Bank. This service enables expatriate Bangladeshis in Australia to send their earnings directly and securely to BRAC Bank account holders, thus enhancing their overall banking experience.

On 17 September 2025, Shahrear Zamil, Head of Remittance and Probashi Banking at BRAC Bank, and Md Riaj Uddin, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VeloxPays, signed the agreement at the bank's head office in Dhaka.
Md Shaheen Iqbal, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Treasury, Financial Institutions, and Corporate & Institutional Banking at BRAC Bank, said: "Through this partnership, we aim to provide Bangladeshi wage earners abroad with reliable, affordable, and secure remittance channels. This initiative reinforces our commitment to serving our customers better and supporting international remittance inflows to the country."
